Research

I believe I was born to become a researcher. I’m an analyzer, a thinker and my mind always works in a scientific manner. I usually have many questions, hypothesizes and subjects for research in mind and I am really enthusiastic and passionate to find the answers. My main areas of interest are:
For a while, I worked as a volunteer research assistant at the Psychology Research & Training Center (PRTC), Department of Psychology, Ryerson University. I also have some experience participating at Anxiety Lab, department of psychology, York university.
I'm willing to pursue my goal of building a career in psychological research along with my practice as a therapist and I'm open to collaborations with others in this area.
- Mental health and clinical disorders (specially Anxiety, depression and eating disorders)
- Similarity and combinations of different schools of thoughts in psychotherapy
- Combinations of scientific psychology with eastern traditions, e.g. meditation
- Psychology of immigration
